Butthurt Alert on Nintendo Homebrew Discord

So on the NHD, you can't post links to warez. Fine. That's a rule here on the temp as well.
According to them though, you're ALSO not allowed to do it through DM (which I didn't even do). They think they own Discord or some shit lol. You're also not allowed to discuss names of piracy tools aka freeShop.

They consider this linking ROM's, and that message was sent to another use over PM:

Hm....I don't see any links. I see usernames and names of archives.

And thanks to another user who would like to remain anonymous, here are some screenshots of mods discussing Windows cracking tools:

Yup, but they don't like usernames. Or archive names. Even if it's over PM where they feel they have authority.

But none of them are a mod? Sounds like another crybaby who got banned and suffers from a victim complex.

I'm not going to comment too much, I'm not staff there and as such it's not my place, but I feel as if you're misrepresented them a bit unfairly.

First of all, as for the DM stuff, obviously they have no way of knowing as long as you don't publicly admit to it anywhere. Their only concern is if you do publicly admit, as that makes you someone people will go to for piracy knowledge.

Secondly, it's up to the server how they enforce their rules. Nintendo Homebrew chooses that no assistance whatsoever with piracy is allowed. That's their pejorative.

Third, the case of the guide is obviously different, and has actually been brought up before. The decision was there is a difference of intent - one intention is to make your console free from restrictions on what it can run and allow homebrew. The other intent is to maliciously steal intellectual property.

Finally, none of the people you posted in the screenshot of mods discussing piracy tools were staff members. The closest is Sonlen, but he's not even staff, just a helper.

This is just my 5 cents, take it or leave it.
