Extract it to your save directory for RetroArch, or your save directory for your RetroPie. It will definitely work with PCSX-ReARMed and the beetle core. I can't say for sure if it'll work with DuckStation.
Bloody Roar 2 doesn't have a whole lot to unlock. Some gallery pics for the story mode, and two boss characters, who I don't know if they are balanced for normal play. Still, the requirement for one of the boss characters, iirc, is to beat the arcade mode on the hardest setting. I can't remember if you can continue or not.
