I don't know, the sticker gimmick sounds like it will be annoying at times...
Especially this: (taken from Wikipedia)
The stickerish graphics aren't as cool as the PM2 graphics, and I doubt it will be as humorous as it, too.
I'm not going to preorder it, but if it gets positive reviews I might buy it. I hope everything I said earlier in this post is wrong
Um... how would you know if you haven't played it?Well, you are lucky!
You are wrong. This might be the game if the century (kinda)
I like the idea that you can collect stickers almost everywhere you go and those are powerups to your moves
Um... how would you know if you haven't played it?
The sticker system reminds me a bit of the card system in Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories (or whatever the GBA title was called). Not sure if I like that or not.Why is everyone worried about the stickers? They are litterally EVERY WHERE. Hell, in the 3DS trailer alone I counted atleast 12 that the player just walked right pass. Personally, I think its pretty cool, it mixes the badge system from TTYD with the item system and combat system. Its much more easy to manage and quick then the normal system which is understandable since its a portable game. I dont think it will trumph TTYD, but its shaping up to give the first game a run for its money.

Nintendolife gave the score 8/10
I'm starting to get worried, Nintendolife use to be very kind on their scores. 8/10 It is the same score of shitty games like this: http://www.nintendolife.com/reviews/3ds/style_savvy_trendsetters and this: http://www.nintendolife.com/reviews/3ds/angry_birds_trilogy
Not really digging this. Collecting the stickers reminds me of the Draw system of Final Fantasy VIII, and not coincidentally is the only game that I avoided using magic at all. That combined with what looks like limited inventory space, and the lack of a levelling system, I'm just not interested. I loved Paper Mario 64, and Thousand Year door, but this just looks like it deviates from the original formula once again.
I think the main problem is putting Paper Mario on a handheld. Before this, it was simple: You had Paper Mario as the RPG on consoles, and Mario&Luigi as the RPG on handhelds. Once those lines began to blur, what differences needed to be made between Paper Mario and Mario&Luigi? All of these negative/neutral reviews are really making me want to wait on this game till a sale or something.....had a pre-order down at Gamestop, but I think I'll just shift the much needed money toward my WiiU
Even bothers me most seeing them coming from other Paper Mario fans, the game seems piss easy, and the no companions part is a massive downside for me.
