I think we can conclude that price of 120 USD is not correct ( or at least rip off of some "major stores"). For example, Yeahgeek sells the sky3ds for 96USD:

As you can see they ll get the stock next Friday, so I can imagine that some of the people who cant wait, can get their unit in two week time.
The price at cheaper retailers should be 100 USD, bigger ones with PayPal and bigger reputation will stick with 120 USD tag.

This is so amazing. Now I have a reason to buy the New3ds!!. Especially for the better 3d screen enhancement and mini analog stick for Monster Hunter!!! 3,4,4G!!.yay. Does anyone know if it will be possible to backup the sky3ds card before inserting the permanent 10games sd card? So that we could keep resetting the chipset I guess. Smealum apps maybe? Or a use of a custom USB to PC cartridge cloner.

If the card records the titles on a chipset, then there is a possibility to reset or restore that memory setting. Maybe through a soft mod or hardware cloning. It would be funny if we could just use gateways cartridge backup to clone the skycard and restore it every time we want to switch to another set of 10 games.
it would most likely be stored to memory embedded into the FPGA, from what i have read this makes that area pretty much completely secure, meaning no way of switching the chip for a new one or force erasing it

I'm not gonna read all 50 pages again so this was mentioned before just disregard this post but I was wondering, the fact that every fw up to 9.2 (according to them) can read this flashcart is because its 1:1 however it will still use roms so wont that mean that users will have to inject a header into them to be able to play online?

The New 3DS LL proof is enough for me.
the thing that i noticed (if i got it right) is that you can write any games up to 10 in this card but then you can't overwrite those games anymore and you are forced to buy another sky3ds for another 10 games only slots?
