I recently came back to this forum to check for updates after a while and was happy to see that Gateway now supports 9.2! Currently, my 3DS is on 9.20.20U and now I can finally get the Gateway. I'm pretty much a noob so I have quite a bit of questions:

What is a good reseller for the Gateway 3DS that has good shipping speed + good cost?
How can I setup my 3DS so that I'm ready to use the Gateway 3DS while I wait?
Are all games that are out now supported on the Gateway? For example, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire?
What size SD Card does the Gateway come with? What's the highest capacity that it supports?
Am I allowed to play online when using the Gateway 3DS? Also, I like to buy games to support the developers sometimes, will I still be able to play the physical copies of games?
What sorts of homebrew options are currently available for the Gateway?

You can't set it up. No one knows what the 9.2 exploit is, as it's not out yet. So you can't do anything but wait.
Yes, all games are supported
Doesn't come with an sd card
Yes, you can play online.

Can you get banned if you play online? Also, would you recommend the Sky3DS over the Gateway?

Until now no one has been banned for using flashcarts.
Also no, if your 3DS is on firmware 9.2 or below, it's recommended that you wait for Gateway's update.
Otherwise you should get a Sky3DS.

A very noobish question, but I can't seem to find this answer anywhere;

I am currently waiting for Cubic Ninja to ship to my place, and my 3ds is at 9.20. When I do the whole ninjhax thing, I have to be connected to wifi. Is there anything I have to be careful of? Is there any way my system will automatically update to 9.3 or 9.4 or whatever? Or is it safe when cubic ninja arrives to just put in the game, turn on the wifi switch and then do the QR code thingy?

The 3DS only downloads updates when you put it on sleep mode with wireless turned on

I have a 3DS on 9.2, and bought a Gateway in anticipation for the upcoming update. Seeing as the actual gateway firmware isn't out yet, what software and tools should I download, if any, in preparation?

Yes that true, however if we want to be safer as possible we can use our private header for the roms, I have played yesterday Mario Kart 7 online for the first time using my animal crossing header :)

I'm only always a little scared I can download the update by mistake even if the 3ds can download it only in sleep mode as you said lol.I usually turn the wireless on only when I play online.

Hi, I have a question regarding the Gateway Flashcart. I know well be on version 9.2 (when they release it), and then we emulate the later firmwares. When we emulate those firmwares, will we be able to play online with real games, and use the eShop? Is there any limitation I should know about? Thanks in advance!

Hello, noob here with a few very nooby questions:
1. .3dz roms are just .3ds roms with a header to make it work online, correct?
2. .cia's are just roms you can install directly to your homescreen, and dont have any other advantage than that, or is there more to them?
3. from what I know themes and dlc's must be installed as a .cia file, so if they are, do they function the same as they normally would (nothing extra?)
4. If I were to happen to have a dlc that is not mine, and I install it (as a .cia) will it work with a .3ds/.3dz game on gateway? Are there any tutorials on this?
Thanks in advance, this is really a great forum :yaysp:
