Question... I still haven't bought a Switch. I will do it soon.
What firmware does the console comes? 1.0? I remember reading back in march that the console came with a day 1 update.

From what I have been seeing it looks like a lot of them are coming with firmware version 2.2.0

The problem is if you leave it too late and people lose interest in a system, it can reduce the amount of potential homebrew.

If Enso was released years ago, perhaps the system would have seen more action, possibly even help boost sales and interest (even with piracy, hardware sales could have caused a spike of interest by publishers which non-pirates could benefit from).

360 on launch also was ~500, PS3 on launch was ~600.
360 also had a core model which had no HDD but could be purchased seperately.

Basically, if you got a high end console, you got to have a internal drive in it.
Especially in this era where gamers constantly complain about loading times and FPS and GFX etc.
Reading a game from a BD disc takes longer then reading it from a HDD.

Something that Nintendo doesn't seem to have fully mastered yet ;/

unsure if i am still on 3.0.0. I know i had dns and never really seen update but i think if i do not have dns it auto updated itself and sadly can not check it till few days

It doesn't auto update, it just prompts you to update every now and then and every time you start a game/app.

Nintendo's bug bounty explicitly forbids you from doing this. I would assume that you have to sign a contract in order to get paid, at which point it becomes legally binding.
