Good job to the people who worked/ are working on this! Pretty neat! I unfortunately updated to play Splatoon 2! That's fine by me though, I'm okay with not having home brew and other goodies for now!

Instead of a backup loader, how about getting an official Retroarch port to work on the Switch? That'll take a while until there's a community SDK for the Switch and a "Homebrew channel"...

Official? How are they going to do that without Homebrew or permission from Nintendo?

If you don't initialize the sm:h service then you use it, you have full access
Simple as that (if I understood correctly)
