Depends on the security, and the Switch (aside from this) is actually fairly robust. SciresM was even on here talking about it.

Instead of a backup loader, how about getting an official Retroarch port to work on the Switch? That'll take a while until there's a community SDK for the Switch and a "Homebrew channel"...

Works on 1.0.0 so i doubt a game is needed.

They may haven't completely figured everything out yet. And if they have, there may not be any software for it.
