has anyone else having this issue with v12? if not can anyone help me figure out what is happening and how to fix this issue?
the files it says are missing are ucrtbased.dll and vcruntime140D.dll

Just download the activeX files specified and either install them (regsvr via cmd) or put them in the program's directory.

i did just that and now i'm getting a makerom.exe error code 0xc000007b unable to start correctly...

Have you run the Setup thing first before trying to run it? Uninstall any older versions of it you may have and then install.

i did what you said but i'm still getting the error... i know you're supposed to keep the cia name short but how short exactly? my original cia is 3 letters and the edited one i'm trying to make it 4 to differentiate...

If you have this error, this is because the newest makerom I'm using (0.16) is not compatible with your pc.

no dice on rebuilding the cia i'm afraid.... is there a windows x64 version of 0.16?

Right here and it's the dlc for radiant historia...I wanted to do some experimenting with the files if it has any.

I've tried the mass extractor and extracting the cia by itself. The game itself also wont unpack properly here but unpacks fine in V9 (the game is a decrypted .3ds) the CIA im pretty sure is encrypted. either way it's only 33kb lol. But you should post in the front page what each version of the toolkit can and cant do.

*cough cough* An encrypted 3DS|CIA|CXI file (It can either be a game, game's update, system application, but anyways not a DLC file nor a DSi Ware!) *cough cough*

It says it's a 64bit... I noticed with the setupus.exe it looked like it skips ahead near the end of the installation process.... It takes longer on the older versions than this one...

Windows 10 x64 v1709. On the rebuild stage it reports a bunch of errors about a few missing DLLs and doesn't rebuild anything.
