Hi.
Can anyone point me to how I can get certain codes to work for me?
I have the purchased/downloaded version of The Legend of Zelda:BoTW (updated to most recent update), and have loaded the codes (from the github page) into SX OS 2.2.
It automatically detected I had the game running, so I selected to enable the codes.
However, when I returned to the game, nothing happens. I tried restarting the console numerous times, but still no effect.

if the title id and the build matches your game and the cheats don't, most likely the address is dynamic and/or the pointer used for the codes are not working 100%

I am currently using the latest BOTW codes with SXOS 2.2 and having no issues, some cheats may require you to press the power button to put the console in sleep mode, then press it again to wake up the console and apply / reapply the cheats

Wanted to try out the Dead Cells cheats. When I go to the cheat menu a message says that there are no cheats available for this specific version of the game and suggests to copy the cheats with a Build ID. What does this mean? Went ahead and let it copy, but the cheats doesn't seem to work.

it means your game version doesn't match, you need to install the game update or remove the game update, which ever it applies

Until there's a code you can use the mod instead. I linked to it in a post a couple pages ago (and, incidentally, I can't play the game without it anymore; I actually consider vanilla Breath of the Wild to be the worst Zelda game of all time, excluding the CDi ones naturally, exactly because of how much I hate the weapon breaking mechanic).

In that case there should be a column "game version" on that github page for every game. Much better than trying different versions of a game.

@Xdqwerty there is health behaviour you can add to your character, then to use a health bar is lil more complicated, google n watch a few tutorial video on it, be too hard to explain here.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the character has the health behavior
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
I know you have to create a health and health max variable. Then there is a calculation you use in code to subtract width size of the health bar. Google few vids.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, the "greenflatbar" is one of the preset health bars btw
  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Yea you can use any bar/sprite. It will just change the width. Ok good luck and have fun. I'm off to go shoot some pool at the bar. Talk to you later.

  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
@BigOnYa, why does the health behavior exist if you can just use a variable?
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
