care to elaberate on this mate? if there is a newer method i dont know about i might be able to implement it and then save a lot of time with my tool

i noticed with spiderman back port there are 2 pkg one is main game and i think he is saying the update is the actual backport

yeah ive just had someone on another forum ask about similar, i can assure you all i put my name on it and its safe. ive been in many scenes for a number of years i have modding knowledge but have no idea how to make or use a virus lol

the problem is coz i use BAT 2 EXE tool and AV dont seem to like that anymore.

also what app to locate elf file in decrypted game dump? I have sfo but can't find elf

yeah 2nd this as i do know my tool is slow but it cant crash and it does the job so for 2018 when i posted it this was best we had lol

the guy made a fake pkg update with the backport. So confortable to use after install the main game.

sorry follow instructions on MAKE ripkit

1. place the pkg file in app root dir (where my app is) and call ir original.pkg

2. click make ripkit and follow insrtuctions etc

3. once you get to the extracted stage take the elf file and the sfo file and place them in backport folder call them both old.elf and old.sfo

4. go back to my main app window and click backport wait for that to finish

5. take your modded files and place them where they came from

6. now cary on with the ripkit stage (command window)

7. now you should have modded.pkg file

8. install this modded.pkg (rename if you want thats fine)

oh yeah i see what you mean now, yeah this should be fairly easy to do... this is what my tool was for originally but they way i made it works with the patch.RiPPERD file (this file contains the diffences etc) so you would need someone to have already made it with my tool, then they share the patch file or the modded pkg file

ill make some changes to make just patched.pkg files but i need to see whats new coz found some newer software since first made this

i guess something went wrong or i don't understand something i hit make rip kit a window opened said it would take a long time it completed but i don't see files in that directory? i must be missing something i don't see elf file? where would it be located?

did you place game pkg in same folder as my app? also call it original.pkg

it's weird i think this needs admin permissions now that i run it a second time a folder called original was created so i wait. sorry to be a pain

you can yes but as my tool stands at the moment it uses full game pkg then you click the backport button once you copy the elf and sfo to backport folder and call them both old.elf and old.sfo once that bit done copy back to same places and carry on with the ripkit, this will give you modded.pkg file
