    At the beginning of the water temple you don't need him. Then when you get to the switch area, he will follow you, but gets stuck in a couple of places and you have to open the path for him without the water skill.

    Item throwing... I remember hearing/reading that you could throw any item from your inventory in TOTK. But all seem to be able to do is drop things. Having to add a bomb to an arrow every time seems limiting. Am I missing something? Can you throw items, rather than just dropping them? I can't...

    I recommend getting yourself to the Great Plateau. Find the portal to the underground on the main grassland, just above where the gate to the plateau exists at ground level. Drop down here and you'll find yourself in a good spot to start this quest off

    Can anyone help finding the shrines on the Great Plateau? They all seem to be underground, but I can't find any cave entrances. If I could find the cherry blossom tree around this area it would point the way. Any idea how to find the shrines here at all? Cheers

    Hmmmm. None of this answers my original query. Tinfoil can download games just fine, but installs fail. My question was why that is.... if it's an installer issue, then is there a way to download in Tinfoil and use an external installer to install the nsp?

    Anybody managed to avoid the Omega (none DE) nag to update from v7 to v9? Every game works fine, but I still have to dismiss this message whenever I boot up. Cart is updated to v9.
