    I checked the 3DS code and it checks everything except CC, so those 4 bytes can be left untouched but they do not matter anyway. The lock bits needs to be set though.

    DIY amiibo cards... created using blank NTAG215 tags and a little bit of dark magic :) You need: - a blank NTAG215 tag sticker (Shop NFC, AliExpress, ...) - an amiibo dump (dump your own amiibo, download it, ...) - a way to decrypt/encrypt amiibo dumps (amiibo decryption service, amiitool, ...)...

    Yes, it is possible but you need to have the right software to do it. Also, once you turn a blank NTAG215 tag into an amiibo, the character (Mario, Luigi, Bowser, etc.) cannot be changed anymore due to certain pages being permanently write-locked.

    I also do not have an Android device with NFC capability and they keep delaying the release of their NFC reader/writer so I decided to make my own software. Google "Amiiqo Manager" :)
