Keep save games from NSUI titles, but change them from Box Art to Title Screen?

Is there any good way of approaching this or do i need to give up my save games that I already have. I decided that it looks much better as the title screen than the box art, but didn't think it through when making the CIAs. I only have saves in a couple of my games.

Homebrew Looking for advice on how I should go about modding my 3DS

I'd recommend backing up all your cartridge games onto the SD card anyway once you hack it.

Anbernic reveals specs details of pocket-sized RG28XX retro handheld

I've seen people play N64 on it, but if they don't support those systems it's because the handheld doesn't have an analogue stick.

What's the best 3DS emulator (especially after Citra's shutdown)?

If you still have citra installed then stick to that. Otherwise I've heard mixed things about Lime3DS, so you could possibly give that a go.

Shortcuts for GBA, NES, etc to open particular games in Twilight Menu++?

Have done some googling but couldn't find an answer, can I get these games to show up on my home screen, I don't particularly want to do VC injection for like a hundred games.

    TF2 64 Bit bug

I think in the directory that TF2 runs from there should still be a 32-bit executable. If there is, make a desktop shortcut of it and use that to launch it.

Windows users should try to be more open minded to try Linux

I've been considering switching for a while, but I don't really want to re-download 2 terabytes of files, and possibly lose some files that I forget before wiping my drive. I have dual-bootes into Linux before for a science fair project before, and I enjoyed it mostly.

New to pc gaming, best way to stream from it?

I'd suggest Steam Link, but I don't know if it supports games not on steam. I know moonlight does, so I think those two should be good enough.

    New here.

New here, just going to get the first post out the way. In terms of modded systems I have a 3DS, PS3 and a Wii. I have tons more stock consoles, mostly ones that my dad bought before I was born. If we're into emulation handhelds here then I also have a RP3+. My favourite games are the...

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
