    I didn't actually mean to restore it I'm just an idiot and didn't know the difference between emmc and emummc. The there were no firmware updates between when the backup was made and the last time I went online, but I played and updated games so my playtime decreased and my games were downgraded.

    Gotcha, I guess what I'm trying to say is that while a console ban is likely inevitable, wouldn't a factory reset keep me safe from a account ban since hypothetically I could have factory reset the switch and sold it to somebody who then proceeded to hack it.

    Hmm what if I was to factory reset my switch? Assuming all traceable data is wiped then everything should appear clean on Nintendo's end right? Although this could lead to a worst case scenario where I have a factory reset switch and am unable to access the eShop to redownload any of my games.

    I disconnected my router before booting the switch into the restored sysMMC so it hasn't been online yet, but all my games that were stored on my SD card now say "Some nescessary data could not be found. It will be downloaded now." when I try to boot them.

    The trick for me was to go into the settings and crank up the Wiimote sensitivity to the max and it gets twitchy but you can win that way lol
