    Hey everyone. Trying to set up a friend with ntr. They are on N3DSXL with A9lh+luma 6.6 They are getting errors though. unknown FIRM access-checks could not be patched or firmware not supported. What are we doing wrong?

    Yea, I'd say so. Have them try to copy everything to a pc. Then format the card and see if that fixes the corrupt areas. Then copy the data back to is and check to make sure it isn't written as corrupt data.

    OK, trying to help another user. They just finished the plailect guide. Now they have apps on their homescreen that are black boxes, and when they try to run them it says sd card has been removed. Has anyone seen this before?

    Ok. Yea, after they check to see if the sd is corrupt, check in data management to see if fbi says anything other than normal. If that clears, I'd have them redownload FBI, and place it on the sdcard again. Just to be sure that it didn't miss a byte anywhere.

    Just to clarify, everything is up-to-date? A9lh, luma is 6.5/6.6, fbi is current? Firmware is 11.2?

    TIL, thanks. Have you tried checking the software data in data management. I saw a user the other day that had this issue with FBI. They had to "try to fix errors" via tile management. Like fbi was corrupt.

    You should already have a9lh. This will just update a9lh, and luma. It was also give you a chance to have sdless booting if you want it as a security measure.
