    I updated my joycons on a friend's Switch (fully updated) and can still use them on my Switch (5.1.0). I don't suspect it would work any differently for rollbacks.

    I've played this game (no patch) on Luma. I found it on that iso site and didn't install the update, either. Had no problems, on either a U or J system. Did you install the update (for the game, not Luma)? If so, maybe that could be the problem... somehow (?). If not, I doubt it will help, but...

    Yes, yes, yes, not at the moment, literally just through the normal menu on a New 3DS XL. Edit: Said New 3DS XL has been reformatted, region changed (to J), and reformatted again. All along the way, same problem with the card. I'm fairly certain at this point that any possible software issues...
