Oh. In that case, it might work anyway. Navigate to an http-only site (something like http://detectportal.firefox.com/ ), and it should theoretically redirect to the portal. Assuming the portal isn't JS-heavy (like too much of the internet is...
I don't know if an upload option will be useful at this point. What would you upload? Sites like Google Drive don't even seem to work properly without Javascript.
I'm not sure what to put on the upper screen yet. Maybe some information on...
Actually, I think it is primarily a font issue since the built-in font doesn't exactly match the scale of the requested font, and it doesn't auto-rescale to fit. I'll do some more work on supporting TTF fonts soon (which should, in theory, fix...
The Ryujinx devs are located in Brazil and from my understanding Brazil doesn't adhere to the WIPO Copyright law so any lawsuits brought against them by Nintendo wouldn't be admissible.
You guys are acting as if creating an emulator purely for profit is not a perfectly legal thing to do. Commercial, closed-source emulators have existed for a long time and will continue to exist. For a commonly used example, see Redream.
Where...
If you're worried about memory, might I suggest taking an approach similar to Line-3DS. The app used to contain a .cia that allowed for 80MB of memory on the O3DS and 178MB on the N3DS. I doubt something like this could be done from a .3dsx file...
It adds a noticeable delay starting/existing a title because of reboot. The other downside is that the old 3DS browser applet doesn't work while in 80MB mode :rofl2:
All in all a browser can't have too much memory nowadays.
If I remember...
I couldn't find any information on this anywhere. Do you have a source to link to? Maybe you're thinking of another web browser or open-source project? There are also a few other things out there called "NetSurf," perhaps you were thinking about...
I have looked into that, and yes, it is currently impossible to enter HIMEM mode from a 3dsx file (AFAIK). I will probably set up HIMEM mode when I make a CIA release unless it causes issues.
So far, memory is not a significant problem on the...
Well, this sucks. But it seems like a big overreaction on the dev's part. I use MelonDS anyway, so I have no problems.
Many people assume that not open-sourcing your emulator makes it somehow illegal. They're probably thinking of how fan games...
/share/netsurf should be a folder in a folder containing all the files and folders extracted from resources.zip, which you can download from the releases page. Neither folder exists by default on the 3DS SD card.
This is required since it...
Hey Protonnutron! The size of the RAM would be the first major issue. The 3DS allows 64MB of RAM for applications, which, while not a lot, is plenty to run NetSurf. The DS and DSi, however, have much less. The DSi has 16MB of RAM, which is...
