    Oh, shoot. I installed farters mess/kernel/screen and now my wifi isn't working. I'm missing some files. ifup wlan1 says the same thing: no such device and all of that junk. iwconfig says "lo no wireless extensions". So I did modprobe b43 and it says: WARNING: Could not open...

    Yeah, it stops after saying what USB devices were found. Hangs in the middle of the boot.

    That's the same thing that happens when you load a MINI kernel through IOS, or an IOS kernel through Bootmii... Did you try the other kernel? (You are talking about farters kernels, right?)

    I'm guessing there isn't an installer that I just launch and after that I'm done like last time, right? Or do I just download the installer, and it does everything except the xorg and the wifi?

    Whaaat? I tried ifup wlan1 and all it says is "Ignoring unknown interface wlan1=wlan1." Is there something else I need to do? Also, thanks for helping me with this!
