RCM Loader does exactly what it says on the tin, loads a payload while your console is in RCM.
Basically, an RCM Loader is a physical replacement for TegraRCM, so you don't have to use a computer, but you still have to carry the dongle around.
You can't get rid of all this "running around" sadly, as there hasn't been a coldboot exploit yet.
The reason you couldn't see anything on your screen is because your Switch was in RCM, which is what allows you to use Tegra to push a payload onto the console and boot into CFW.
Your best bet...
"The solution could be jumping to another place, do screen swap, and return to original line, but I need help :("
What you are describing is a hook. Basically just write a jmp instruction at your hook address that jumps into a function that executes your code, then the original code and jumps...
Hello.
I have been trying to update my Switch to 9.1.0, but ChoiDuJour is giving me some problems. I get to the part where you press "Start Installation" and right after I press it and it starts checking for BIS access, it errors out and closes.
Anything that could be causing this? I am...
Wait, so you're basically saying you are running Atmosphere while online and fully connected to Nintendo servers?
What in the actual fuck.
Excuse me for the offtopic but, seriously what.
Well, howdy!
Following the release of Super Mario Maker 2 (I didn't even know it was going to be released this soon), I have all of the sudden felt the urge to buy the game, even though I never liked the Super Mario Maker games. I am not going to try to force myself to resist buying the game...
Well, you technically won't have to use a jig if you install Auto RCM, but you still going to need a payload sender that can actually push the payload that boots CFW (just an example, payloads can do much more.)
That's only if you are using a CFW like ReiNX that doesn't properly power off on manual trigger, instead it remains in RCM and you need to manually shut it off, but I can assure you Atmosphere doesn't have this problem.
I totally understand your point of view, but you shouldn't be worried about hacking your Switch at all! It really isn't that hard of a process, the pin stuff may look hard at first, but as soon as you either watch a video or read the guide slowly, taking it step by step, you will find out that...
Network switch, two VM hosts, a raspberry Pi, wireless AP, Zigbee coordinator, and two NASes. 17 minutes, enough time to go "oh shit the power went out time to start turning everything off"
