    Modmii is old software because nintendo hasn't updated a wii system menu since then, so theres nothing to update. Use modmii and stay away from brick my wii, dude! install it on your pc, run it from your pc, and follow the steps. its that simple. But hey, 2 pages later and your still messing...

    Modmii is a windows program and it will ask you questions of your current setup, and DL all necessary files for you. Its pretty much a once and done program.

    Have you tried using ModMii? https://code.google.com/p/modmii/ not sure if usb loaders will read from SD, so that sounds like the problem. I run everything from usb with no problems. Formatted drive to FAT32 and never looked back.....
