    Homebrew RELEASE ChoiDujourNX - a system firmware installer homebrew for the Nintendo Switch

    After upgrading to 5.1.0 using ChoiDujourNX, I see "Current Version: 5.1.0 ReiNX" as the version number under System Settings. Is this normal? I didn't see "ReiNX" text as part of the version number before. I did use ReiNX (v1.7) as my custom firmware.

    Hacking Question Need help with NXLoader 0.2 (wrong cable?)

    I know this is an old thread but was wondering if this setup will work when connecting to my Note 5 (Phone) Micro to USB A cable --> USB A to C OTG adapter (Switch) The Switch would end up being the host in this case, I presume.

    Do I still need to worry about the gamecard controller firmware update if I'm going from v4.1 (original fw) to v5.1 firmware? Or can I just ignore that part? I want to be able to go use the game card should I go back to 4.1 but wasn't sure if that only applied when coming from lower firmware...

    Yes, formated to exFAT. I'm on 4.1 FW (original firmware) and have not put on the exFat update.

    I followed the guide on the website but after injecting the ReiNX payload, I see the anime logo but after that it does nothing and just goes dark. Anyone ran into this issue? I tried it twice, not sure what I'm doing wrong.

    I bought a spare joy con rail to use as a jig. My question is, is a resistor necessary or will a regular wire be fine when soldering pins 1 &10? I'm seeing some jigs with resistors and others using regular wires so I wasn't sure if using a resistor had any advantage. I'm getting it this week so...
