Thank you for all of the hard work! You did an outstanding job on the Yo-kai watch 1 translation. I played a little bit of the yo-kai watch 4 translation and it is turning out just as amazing. Me and my wife are big Yo-kai watch geeks and we both really appreciate the hard work you have done.
Oh that burn is kind of bad but honestly it could have been anything though. At least the soldering isn't too bad. Ive seen some gnarly solder jobs on this chip that I am amazed that worked.
It looks installed ok enough. That burn shouldn't matter since its on the Gpu bracket. It should still turn on without the chip. The only thing I can think of is you shorted a resistor for the Gpu chip. Or you tried to install it with the battery plugged in but I doubt you did that haha
I am sorry you lost your switch. My guess would be the solder on the sp1-sp2 transistors. They are super duper sensitive. Where you using flux at all. You can use a multi meter on the soldered points to see where the problem was.
Haha that's true. Technically they cracked it. hacking is a bit different but I get what you mean. But I seriously doubt the interest will still be there in 15 years people cracked the ique because it is uncharted territory and plus its just funny to do. But you never know maybe somebody will...
The easiest way to explain it would be. Every device phones etc have a recovery mode just incase you screw up the internal software or an update bricks your device for some reason . You or some worker at the company can then press a certain key combination like hold the power button and press...
There will probably never be a soft mod for patched switches. Nobody is going to put the effort into it since there is so many unpatched consoles in the wild. Plus anyone that for some reason is working on it now is going to move onto cracking the next revision thats coming out next year.
