I recently updated and I got the XMB working fine with assets, looks good. Nice. However, sometimes while loading a core or launching a game it goes to black Wii U system error screen, is that common? I never used to get that until I recently updated retroarch on Wii U.
I love this game but I think it should stand on its own with the recent remaster, unless this remake adds enough extra stuff that it feels brand new (sequel in the same world or something). If it's just a remaster remaster, it's pretty much worthless.
I just think, like most video game movies, that this one won't come off much better than "male tomb raider movie" but I hope I'm wrong. Oh who am I kidding, I haven't been to the theater in years.
I'd just like to know, since Nintendo already offers an eshop program to obtain the games you own, then how is this really kosher to use unless you clearly mean to go outside the legal bounds it offers? You don't need it for the legal use it hides behind, so those that use it need it for its...
My big memory of buying third party stuff was a Performance brand N64 memory pak plus...damn thing never worked, always corrupted my games. I have tried to always go first party after that (and that was after I bought a third party RAM expansion pak that hardly worked too).
Anyone know if the update (3GB) is included on disc or not? I may not have internet ready when I get this game, or at least it will be potentially annoying to download the update, so I hope it's on the disc.
Count me in the bunch that isn't happy with the gameplay changes. I really would have been all over a graphical overhaul that stuck to the turn-based system of the original with maybe some new end game sidequests to tackle. Oh man, that would have been fucking amazing. I doubt I'll buy this.
He's just not used to making videos and caved to pressure to post one, no big deal. What do people think they will get from seeing a UI? It's so plain.
