Hacking ERROR CODE: 2123-0011 when trying to start game

Got it, thanks. Is there a way that you would recommend to restore saves from one SD card to another? I had a look through the guide Blythe93 pasted and found it a bit confusing. I prefer guides that explain what is actually happening in the backend whilst you work through them. Otherwise it...

Hacking ERROR CODE: 2123-0011 when trying to start game

Thanks for your help, mate. Appreciate it. The saved games are from when he was playing games on the CFW on the SDcard. Does that mean the saves are on the SD card too?

Hacking ERROR CODE: 2123-0011 when trying to start game

i haven't tried that yet and am hesitant to do so because the SD card was never removed and placed in a PC for that archive bit to be set. Unless the Switch itself can mess with that archive bit (which I doubt) then this isn't the issue. Here's the rub. This is the second time this Switch has...

Hacking ERROR CODE: 2123-0011 when trying to start game

The Switch isn't with me, it's my friends one. I asked him to test by turning off the router and booted back into Atmosphere (so no internet access as it booted) and got the below error. I've asked him to turn the router back on and boot back into CFW to see if the previous error comes back...

Hacking ERROR CODE: 2123-0011 when trying to start game

Hi everyone, I've got an Erista Switch running Atmosphere. Have been using it for a couple of months just fine mostly playing one game. Decided to close down the game and try Mario Kart and then this screen appeared. Now, it boots to this screen every time. Nothing else was done. I didn't...

    Hacking INSTINCT-NX Chip

I followed the instructions in the YT video below with the difference being I used wire to solder only point C (dat0) and point B (rst). In the video all the other points he did with wires but I just used the ribbon flex cable the chip came with instead. 1709722894 I just read my initial...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

The sthetix youtube video on the kamikaze method suggests using some flux in the area while drilling to 'catch' the copper dust.

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Nice work. Where did you get the wiring diagram? I've only installed Chinese chips like the Instinct where you don't need to solder as many wires in (using the flex cables instead). I'd be interested to know what all those connections are for and where they are soldered on the board. Nevermind...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

I just jimmy it back and forth until it fatigues the metal and breaks off on its own. Don't pull up (away from the board) at all whilst doing this. It might take a few back-and-forths. 1705054305 So envious. I've put in an order for a grinder from AliExpress to try this method out.

What to do after after a modchip is installed in my v2 switch non oled?

I followed the instructions here and am happy with the outcome. https://github.com/sthetix/HATS

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Interesting. I haven't noticed any issues with the ones I've done (yet). Which method would you prefer? Kamikaze?

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Got it! Thanks. Makes sense why we need to make sure it's anchored properly. My first OLED mod I reballed the emmc but didn't feel comfortable doing it again for other OLEDs. They all worked and are still working. Future mods I'll just make sure it's anchored on all 3 sides properly and call it...

Hacking Hardware Picofly - a HWFLY switch modchip

Interesting. According to your attached image the dat0 point (in blue) is near the top left, however, the dat0 adapter is slid in from the bottom. How does it connect to the correct point? According to the image not all the emmc pins are needed, does it mean they aren't all soldered which is why...

What makes it a bad dat0 adapter? Also, for bonus points, which pin of the emmc does the adapter tap into? I still dont understand how it can go in there without reballing/soldering. Does it just put into the existing soldered point?

    Switch v1 missing capacitor

You're right, it does look different. My experience mentioned above was with the OLED where they all looked the same. I can see in your pic a few that have slightly different colours. Have you measured them yet?
