Homebrew Official NAND Dumper - Create full dumps of the NAND

Is it safe to interrupt this process (I guess by restarting the console)? I started the process yesterday at 8am and it's now 15:30 and it's not even halfway. Seems to be running at the rate of 900bytes every 7 seconds. I'm dumping to a 128sd card, formatted to fat32. Clearly there's...

I'd rather they focused on getting Wii U games to work on a Wii U emulator than worrying about older console games which have dedicated emulators for them, especially getting MK8 to work properly on AMD cards... Your point about the enhanced graphics is valid-ish, but talk to other emu devs...

    Clearly the latter.

Both seem to work fine with the AMD 17.11.1 drivers. Note though that I had to downgrade last week as MK8 wouldn't load with the newer ones. Since then there's been a big update to the drivers, with loads of new features etc, but I've not tried those yet.

You may have to delete your shader cache.

Thanks, but we all know where to get the new release. All you're doing is spamming.

Look on your C: drive, you will probably have an AMD folder with previous install versions in there. Go into the relevant version, and then into the \Bin64 folder and you should see AMDCleanupUtility.exe. Run that. It has no UI after the initial warning and takes a couple of minutes, but it...

OK, I used AMD's own uninstaller tool to wipe their drivers and then reinstalled from the 17.10.2 release, but it seems to have actually installed 17.11.1. However, CEMU 1.11.1 is running Mario Kart 8 just fine with this config. Perhaps try wiping your drivers as I did, and reinstalling?

What CEMU and AMD Driver versions are you using? Edit: OK, the 17.11.2 & 17.11.4 AMD driver versions are a bust with CEMU from 1.10.0c on. I'll try 17.10.2 later (after work!) as I know 1.10.0c it worked OK with that.

Never say never, but it's extremely unlikely. Exzap would basically need to crack the certificate encryption Nintendo use.

You cannot. You need a WiiU as you have to dump various encrypted files from it. Without those, no online.

i thought everybody knew cocktails are like 75% ice
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Yeah but not like this.
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's not like they're complaining that their Slurpee is 99% ice or something, but if the cocktail calls for "shot of vodka, shot of vermouth, shot of gin, shot of Campari, three shots of juice, squirt of lemon" and ends up being a thimbleful of booze, that's a problem.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
the funny thing is cocktails in norway are only allowed to have 1 20ml shot of booze
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    so..... yeah
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
we're used to only having a thimbleful of booze
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Booo.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
same thing if you want whisky on the rocks or something, you can't get a double
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but you could buy as many shots of whisky (or anything else) as you want and ask for a glass of ice and pour them in
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
    it's dumb
  • Veho @ Veho:
    Maybe.

There was a comparison of the number of Ibuprofen poisonings before and after they limited the maximum dosage per box or per pill (i'll look that up). No limit on the number of boxes you can still buy as many as you want, so people argued it was pointless.
  • Veho @ Veho:
But the number of (accidental) poisonings dropped because drinking an entire package of ibuprofen pills went from "I need a new liver" to "I need a new box of Ibuprofen".
  • Veho @ Veho:
Here we have ketoprofen that used to be prescription-only because of the risk of toxic dosages, but then they halved the dose per pill and sell them in bottles of six pills apiece instead of twenty and it doesn't need a prescription any more. Yes you can buy more than one bottle but people simply don't.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
Usually accidentally overdose of ibuprofen here is from people taking like cold medicine then ibuprofen for a headache and the combination is over what they need
  • K3Nv2 @ K3Nv2:
    Toxic pills are best
