During the
I tried this. First I sued a 64GB micro SD which reported hardware errors. Aftwards I tried an 8GB micro SD which had no errors. I tried loading the two files on there like it said in the guide and the 3DS won't start. As you (and the guide) says, it might be because of the adapter...
So was I, but I followed post #11 in this thread: https://gbatemp.net/threads/3ds-bricked-corrupted-boot-firm-in-sysnand-ctrnand-please-help.486145/
That's how I ended up with 7.1
I am now trying the guide you posted. Will let you know how it works out. Thanks a lot for your help anyway. :)
I must admit I am not following, but I assume you're talking about the arm9loaderhax.bin? This was on my SD before (see screenshot in opening post). But I downloaded it again following the guide you provided and replaced that one with the one I had on my SD card. But the problem still remains...
Great idea, but sadly no. The same issue remains.
I think something went wrong/I did something wrong when I messed with the boot.firm in sysnand ctrnand in godmode9. After I did that my 3DS would only start up with the boot.firm from Luma 7.1 on my SD card. But now, after I formatted my SD card...

So I have a old 3DS...
Perfect! It now autoboots in EmuNAND. Awesome! Was afraid it bricked. Can't believe it was this simple..
Follow-up question. Was this caused by my canceling the update or is there anything I should and van do to avoid this in the future?
I used to just update when it told me there was an...
Thank you for the reply! This did something. I'm in the Luma3DS v7.0.5 configuration. How do I make sure it always enters the CFW? The one I can update and still use homebrew and play roms etc.?
Am I right in saying that when I leave the first option "Autoboot SysNAND" UNchecked, press START to...
-Tried to summarize everything in the title.
-This might be a long post, but I'm going to try and give you guys all the information I can think of..
First of all, I'm far from knowledgeable in this subject.
I CFW'ed a few PSP's in my time and was able to use an R4-card with my DS.
That's as far...
