Best free backup software for Windows?

I'm currently using Windows Backup and Restore to backup my C drive to my backup hard drive, but I don't want to have to keep manually deleting old backups. Is there any free backup software that can do backups and automatically auto-purges old backups? Thanks

Gaming Bayonetta 2 Switch VS WII U. Can you tell the difference?

As shown in the DF video, the graphics are mostly the same but the performance is much better than the Wii U, even in portable mode.

    Hardware My Switch Died. Today.

I had a similar problem the other day, but I managed to get the power options screen to appear by holding down the power button. I clicked restart and it didn't work, so I did it again and chose power off, then turned it on again and it worked.

Hardware So if i Buy this, and this, will it work? (Question)

Those component are fine for gaming at 1080p with all modern games at medium to high settings. For the CPU, it depends what socket your motherboard has.

Specs: i5-6600 ASUS Z170 Gaming Pro 16GB-2400 Corsair Vengeance RAM My ASUS DirectCU II R9 290 has one red light and one green light on it, and it doesn't give any signal but the fans run. Gaming Assassin's Creed Chronicals - Vita or PS4?

Depends on what you want - portability or better graphics? If you always have your Vita connected to the Internet, you could get the PS4 version and use Remote Play to get both.

Hardware Which component should I upgrade?

That's what I thought. Would the GTX 970 be a good upgrade for Gameworks games?

Hardware Which component should I upgrade?

Does the 390 have better price/performance than a Nvidia card? Because I'm considering switching to Nvidia for the Gameworks.

Hardware Which component should I upgrade?

Intensive games like AC Unity and Syndicate, GTA V, etc. I play on very high at 30fps. I use an SSD.

Hardware Which component should I upgrade?

I have a FX-8320 overclocked to 4.4GHz, and a stock clocked ASUS Radeon R9 290. Which one should I upgrade first to get higher fps? I play at 1080p and have a budget of around £200 for a CPU or GPU upgrade.

Hardware How to transfer Windows 10 from HDD to SSD?

But I don't want to transfer EVERYTHING because there isn't enough space. I only want my desktop and taskbar to look the same, but with the actual apps stored on the HDD.

I've installed Windows 10 on my SSD, how do I now get everything from my desktop, all my settings, etc to appear when I boot from SSD?

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".
  • Veho @ Veho:
It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite
    for people with beefy hands.

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

    but that's a long shot

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

  • BigOnYa @ BigOnYa:
Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
