    You can only charge the controller via usb on a windows pc with a play and charge kit. It will not work as a controller in windows without a usb rf receiver.     Have you checked windows event viewer after the issue happens to see if you can get any clues? Any warnings or errors popping up after these hangs happen? Open computer management, event viewer, windows logs and check under application and system.

    Could be system file corruption or something along those lines. Maybe just try running an sfc /scannow and see if it finds any issues as well. Won't hurt anything to give that a shot either.

    Sounds like it could be a drive issue. Can you run crystal disk info on your system drive and see what it's health status is. Might give you a clue as to weather or not it is starting to fail.

    Built myself a decent 4k gaming rig to play on my new 55" LG oled. The 4060ti in the first picture was just temporary until the 4080 super arrived. Got a decent setup now.

    Is the LCD wired to a modchip or is it just a temperature prob lodged between the fins of the heatsink? Depending on how and where it is reading temperatures from can cause them to vary.

    You might have to do a full region change on the Wii U if that's the case as I'm not sure if there would be any other way around it.

    Your only option may be to clone the hdd to the ssd. Unfortunately this will result in loosing half the storage space on the ssd at least until you can get the blu-ray drive fixed and then you'll be able to reinstall the firmware properly and format the drive to the full size while doing so.
