Hacking Bluebomb: An exploit for the Wii + Wii Mini

You can run Linux in a VM and passthrough an adapter if you have a usb bluetooth adapter, but no this won't work natively on Windows or Mac probably ever.

That's odd, something must be changing the response to you. Unfortunately there's nothing I can do from my side about this. $ dig cfh.wapp.wii.com @97.74.103.14 ; <<>> DiG 9.14.4 <<>> cfh.wapp.wii.com @97.74.103.14 ;; global options: +cmd ;; Got answer...

    Hacking A channel-less, sd-less entry point: str2hax

Dang sorry, I'll have to look into what's really causing that libogc error. For now I would just use LetterBomb instead.

    Hacking A channel-less, sd-less entry point: str2hax

Give it another try with the DNS servers from the OP. It should no longer try to reset the DNS settings on your Wii. Let me know if that works. EDIT: 3rd times the charm, try it one more time. An incorrect version of the payload was uploaded that would probably just cause the exploit to sit on...

    Hacking A channel-less, sd-less entry point: str2hax

Retry the exploit with the primary DNS server set to 68.102.188.131 and tell me what happens. EDIT: Disregard the above steps, it seems my ISP isn't happy about me hosting service somewhere below port 443 so I can't have you test things on my machine. I have to go get a temporary server setup...

    Hacking A channel-less, sd-less entry point: str2hax

How are you connecting to the internet on the Wii? Wifi, USB Ethernet? And is there anything unusual about your connection setup? This error is from libogc saying it couldn't setup a network connection on the Wii for some reason. However, you clearly have a working setup since you get to the...

    Hacking A channel-less, sd-less entry point: str2hax

The DNS servers seem to be fine. What exactly happens when you run the connection test?

    Hacking A channel-less, sd-less entry point: str2hax

Read my edit above. The new IPs are 97.74.103.14 and 173.201.71.14. Sorry about that.

    Hacking A channel-less, sd-less entry point: str2hax

Does your wii pass the internet connection test as normal when you switched the dns over? EDIT: Nevermind, this is my problem. GoDaddy changed the IPs of their namespace servers that this is hosted on, I'll update the OP with the new IPs.

Hacking New free homebrew entry point. FlashHax

The exploit worked just fine then. Now you need to add apps to it. There are tons of tutorials on YouTube and other places about how to get started once you have it installed.

Hacking New free homebrew entry point. FlashHax

I recommend using str2hax as FlashHax has a much lower success rate and will stop working for Wiis without the Internet Channel downloaded by the end of this month. What happens when you change the DNS and try to view the agreement section exactly? Also what firmware are you on?

    Hacking A channel-less, sd-less entry point: str2hax

Sorry for the late reply, gbatemp decided to stop telling me when people responded to me. The issue isn't anything to do with the payload. It seems the build of the index.html file failed. If you look in index.html there should be a giant decimal right after the parseFloat function but it's...

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

The phat model had amazingly loud speakers tho.

  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.
