I got a usb tester on this unit and saw that it only charges at 0.47amp. It does not go to fast charge. That might be the main issue. I have swapped out the usb c port and the m92 chip and it still unable to go into fast charge. I found no shorts around the m92, BQ and PI3usb chips. Running out...
Yes. I have done the troubleshooting steps and isolated to this switch.

I can do microsoldering, just horrible at troubleshoot which component has failed. 😂
Sometimes it would connect over DBI. When it is connected, I still get that error message about not charging. When it does connected with DBI, the transfer speed is extremely slow. Over 50+ mins to install instead of the normal 5-10mins.
I have other switches and they connected fine with the...
I have a regular Switch that has no issue charging to a power brick or plug, but will not charge by a computer. I have tried multiple computers and usb ports and they all behave the same way.
Must be some ic chip issue. Anyone comes across this issue before?
I have a Switch Lite that drains battery fast. About 10% in 5-10mins. If I am at 95% battery and power it off completely overnight, the next morning it is at 10%. It’s not the battery as I have it disconnected and the charge remains at the same voltage reading with a multimeter. I replaced the...
When I switch over to the instinct chip, it doesn’t get stuck like in the hwfly chip. It still doesn’t boot into hekate all the times.

Still not yet. I might open the switch and resolder a few points. Just haven’t have time yet to try.
This issue is still outstanding. I compared this board with a working one and something else is causing this, not the physical micro sd slot. I just don’t have enough electric engineering background to troubleshoot this. This will sit in my pile until I have more experience in troubleshooting.
Is there any trick or tip on soldering points A and D on the ribbon? The gap between the board and the ribbon is quite far. I always spend too long doing these two points.
Already replaced the sd card reader an hour ago and that didn’t help fix the error.
What is this blue smd? I am comparing diode values between another working board and I am not getting any value at this component. I am getting 0v instead of 0.57v.
I have a Switch Lite that cannot read sd cards. I have tried different cards and still can’t read it. I get the following error message:
Error code 2016-0641 unable to access media
If I replace the micro sd reader, will that fix the issue or is there some kind of ic chip that I have to look...
I've been playing fallout4 all day, I went into a elevator and it kept going, never stopped, waited 5 minutes, must of been a bug. How bout you, whatcha do today?
