Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

So um. In the instructions for widescreen on TWiLight menu, it says to select "GPU scaling", but then the only one here is "GPU Scale test", followed by a health hazard warning. Is this the option, and why is it a health hazard?

Homebrew [DS(i)/3DS] TWiLight Menu++ - GUI for DS(i) games, and DS(i) Menu replacement

So, how exactly does the widescreen thing work? I want to make sure it'll only apply within TWiLight Menu, since I'd like to keep all NDS games that run outside of TWiLight (Like physical games and DSiWare I have installed directly in my 3DS) in their original aspect ratios.

    Homebrew Super Mario 64 Port

Yep. Bob-omb Battlefield does play at full speed for the most part. Here's a video I recorded to show you where some of the problems are, and it's all on sound. Oh, and this is an NTSC-U old 3DS. I have the game installed through FBI.

    Homebrew Super Mario 64 Port

Decided to test that out right now. On my original old 3DS, neither Anti-Aliasing nor 800px mode seem like they do much of a difference, if any. Exact same sounds and parts of music cause lag. Same part of Cool Cool Mountain's music slows down the game too. One sound that consistently causes...

    Homebrew Super Mario 64 Port

On my old 3DS (And it's the absolute original 3DS from 2011), I have the port installed via FBI, playing at 400px mode. It runs on full speed (At least, it seems like it) until specific parts of music play, or specific sound effects. Something that makes this easily noticeable is Cool, Cool...

    Homebrew Super Mario 64 Port

Aw. Thing is, on my old 3DS, it only ever gets slow when the sounds get more complex, so the exact same parts of music, or the same sounds, cause lag. Really hoping a solution gets found for this. Old 3DS should be able to play Mario 64 well.

    Homebrew Super Mario 64 Port

How likely would it be to get an Old 3DS version running at a locked 30 fps? All I have is an Old 3DS, and it definitely doesn't work too well right now. :'v

Homebrew How much battery life do homebrew and emulators consume compared to normal 3DS games?

As I understand it, DS games consume less power than 3DS games, and GBA games consume less power than DS games. Which means, if I want to use my 3DS for the longest possible time, I should go with a GBA virtual console game. Is this understanding correct? But, compared to all these ways of...

Homebrew Retroarch Emulation Thread (Nightly Builds Included)

Greetings to everyone on this thread. I'm hoping to find answers here. I haven't tried the other emulators, but I've tried running Fuse, and failing at attempting to do so. So, what I did was copy the Retroarch folder to SD card root, and only Fuse's database and core. Then, I copied over Fuse's...

Where to buy an NDS flashcard for CFW 3DS in Hong Kong?

Since my 3DS is already CFW'd, I'm not interested in Sky3DS or Gateway. All I'm looking for are NDS flashcards like the SuperCard DSTWO Plus (Because of SNES, GBA and NDS compatibility all in one - But I understand that flashcard is rare nowadays), or at the very least an R4i for the 3DS, so I...

Homebrew [Discontinued] TWLoader - CTR-mode NDS app

Aww... Well, SD card roms still work, so definitely not a problem with my 3DS's DS compatibility, so yeah. I guess it really is the flashcard. But, what did TWLoader do to brick the card? I had no idea it could actually brick it. I mean, sure, there were no game forwarder files for...

Homebrew [Discontinued] TWLoader - CTR-mode NDS app

Hey, Robz8, I love the way TWLoader works, but could you help me with a little problem I'm encountering? I tried to use TWLoader with my R4iTT flashcard (specifically the one on the left on this webpage without the screw), then I pressed start, set game location to Flashcard, then pressed "Add...

Homebrew [Release] Higurashi: When They Cry 3ds Port

Woah. Didn't expect a something like this to come up for the 3DS! Say, when you're done with this, will you be porting Umineko for 3DS?
