Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

Thanks fledge68. Time to update I think (still on 617). I would at this point say sorry to stfour for completely ditching postloader, however it is my daughter's loader of choice on the Wii in her bedroom, so thanks also to stfour.

Hacking Last Chance for Sourceflow. "100% Useless" - WiiFlow Dev

I use the current source menu, and when you first started pushing for sourceflow I was all for it. However since then, I have thought about it, and I think I prefer the source menu as it is. After all, it's a Wii, and the source menu kind of makes it looks like a fancy Wii menu. I personally...

Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

To answer my own question, just in case anybody comes up against the same issue, the freezing problem was caused by some corrupted Wii covers.

Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

Please please please help. I recently gave up in WiiFlow and switched to PL4 as I suddenly started having issues with my hdd being recognised. But I miss my WiiFlow so much, so I did a fresh install using Abz pack, the only thing I retained from the old setup being the boxcovers folder. For some...

Hacking WiiFlow - Select Partition Problem

Posted in the main WiiFlow thread a while back, but it just got lost in the more important stuff. Basically all was working fine up until recently, but now all of a sudden every time I select any system from the WiiFlow source menu, I'm prompted to select a partition, and 9 times out of 10 I'm...

Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

I'm hoping that there's a simple fix to this problem. Basically all was working fine up until recently, but now all of a sudden every time I select any system from the WiiFlow startup menu, I'm prompted to select a partition, and 9 times out of 10 I'm unable to select my HDD. Weird thing is that...

Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

Got it sorted after much experimenting. For some reason, it's not loading the covers properly with the default theme. Switch to Carbonik and they load fine. Back to default, and they're gone again. Strange.

Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

OMG, why do I do this to myself? Had everything working fine, all covers showing for all plugins etc. And then I decided to update to latest rev, deleted wiiflow.ini and contents of cache folder, and now covers only display for wii, gamecube, and a few gameboy games, and that's it. Checed...

Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

Regarding the black screens, I recently had this on a couple of games, but setting the cIOS for the game manually, instead of using auto worked for me.

Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

Yeah, I did but thanks for the suggestion anyway. Guess I'll have to live without these games, unless they just start working one day. That's what strangely happened with my movie covers.

Hacking WiiFlow - an open source GUI USB-Loader

As per my later post, changing to zips seemed to work, so I then jumped the gun, and assumed that was the problem, but it turned out that didn't work for the gamegear or sg-1000 games, so although patially successful, there is no bug, and this was not really a solution. As Maxternal (I think)...

Hmm. Should have checked fully before posting. changing the extension worked for the most (just zipped them up), but not gamegear or sg-1000. Sorry, but back to square one. Apologies for the mistake. :shy:
