Highthorn replied to the thread PS1/2 Ps2 fat power supply unit repair guide..Found a replacement 82 uf 400 v for the C1 cap. C1 apparently was the culprit on my system. After replacing C1 and testing the standby led came on immediately. I also replaced C3 & C20 just to be sure. Works fine now! -

Psu is giving exactly 12v, capacitors give a reading that is exactly correct, fuse is working (multimeter beeps). Capacitors look really clean and no bulging, and the whole psu board is clean...

@K3Nv2 I got some cheapies at wallys, that are pretty good, already have lost a few expensive ones (one falls out and gone, can't find) while cutting grass so bought some cheap ones, and of course never lose these cheap ones. (Cheap meaning only $35, compared to air buds which I only have 1 of 2 now)
