    The DSL file is for updating multiple cards in a row that's why it asks you to eject and re-insert. If you are updating just one card use the DSI file even if you do it on a DS lite.

    Make sure you use the "DSI" labelled file even if you use it on a ds lite, it makes things easier. The "DSL" file allows you to update multiple cards in a row but it needs you to swap cards once you launch the update file.
