That seems about right. Chapter0 is Chapter 1 graphically in game, Chapter1 is Chapter 2, and Chapter2 is Chapter 3. Have fun :toot: Yeah. Er nothing happening that's weird. Did you drag your decompressed file into FEST for the compressed file?

I should have clarified that. The first pair of bytes is the pointer to TOPS, second pair of bytes is the pointer to TINU, third pair of bytes is the pointer to NART, fourth pair of bytes is the pointer to IFER, and the fifth pair of bytes is the pointer to ILER. Now you find the respective...

Oh I see. I changed them back to their former class.

Your save looks ok. I don't see the problem. They can hold and use their weapons. If you didn't edit the file then there shouldn't be a problem.

I guess you probably copied the class ID wrong then. Try searching for the ID again. If for some reason it doesn't work just delete the extdata I guess. You could just change Luthier to a baron and level to 20 since it seems like a problem for you.

Unknown is probably because you never loaded the DLC with that class, thus no extdata containing the information about it. Every class change always adds a boost to one of the stats.

The bytes that manipulate the stats aren't the base stats in the save file. They're just the boosts. If you want to change the stats of the class so it's the same as the previous class, you're going to have to romhack the dlc classes's stat modifiers (I can't help you on that). You can just...

Here you go, you just copied something wrong on Deen, I replicated (tried) as I'm bit lazy atm. You have to change the # of unit because the game checks for some reason, and if it's wrong well then it won't load it. What you did did not change the # of units you had. You just replaced a...

The pointers are correct. I'm assuming you originally had 33 characters and now adding the 8 so the unit # is correct and for the chracter blocks they look good. Just backup. You should be looking for the character that you're looking for by searching for it's ID. This is an example of what a...

No that's not it, what hex editor are you're using? You should just use ctrl+f.

The EXP byte, third one, you would just change to 0x0A and that's it. For your first file, it's located on 0x5049, second, 0x50E5, and third 0x6326.

The offset that you have is 0x747A. If you don't why it's because the row shows 7470. The 0 is the one that changes based on the column. So it's in row 7470, column 0A which would be your offset: 0x747A. To reverse just simply reverse the bytes. 0x747A reversed would be 0x7A74.
