Arcade stick as a controller
Apologies if this is posted in the wrong sub - just not sure where it should go. I picked up an off-brand Pandora's Box arcade stick. I've completed the Haxchi mod and all's well so I decided to get a larger SD card so to help speed up transfers. I noticed it was exFAT (vs my current FAT SD card) - it was my understanding that exFAT played well with macs but other than that was similar to regular FAT. Moved my original SD...- kungfudentist

The cold boot Haxchi sounds scary. I've done a few mods before (xbox,wii,psp,ds) and they all have their quirks but a lot of the Wii U tools do seem to be hit or miss- like I just spent over an hour trying to get USB Helper to re-install. Just recently gotten and softmodded a Wii U (5.5.3 using Haxchi). Been a fun process and so far have many games running great. Not a big movie buff, more of a gamer tbh. And Series X is 120hz 8k ready, but yea only 120hz 4k games out right now, but thinking of in the future.

I only watch tv when i goto bed, it puts me to sleep, and I have a nas drive filled w my fav shows so i can watch them in order, commercial free. I usually watch Married w Children, or South Park

I stream from Nas to firestick, one on every tv, and use Kodi. I'm happy w it, plays everything. (I pirate/torrent shows/movies on pc, and put on nas)

I got my Dad a firestick for Xmas and showed him those 3rd party sites on Kodi, he loves it, all he watches anymore. He said he has got 3 letters from AT&T already about pirating, but he says f them, let them shut my internet off (He wants out of his AT&T contract anyways)

I just use a VPN, even give him my login and password so can use it also, and he refuses, he's funny.
