Hacking CDNSP is NOT dead. They just don't want us to use it.

There are different situations with different consequences. I don't think this can be compared to permanently loosing homebrew access for example. I strongly believe in knowledge sharing. The more people have access to information the better for community. If someone has obscure game it will...

I don't see any real arguments from you. CDNSP will continue to work for purchased stuff because Nintendo will not block legit users from CDN. It is common sense. It is also quite possible to make homebrew for Switch (like stripped down FreeShop version) that uploads purchased NCAs directly to...

They can always use CDNSP to download stuff they actually own. And then share NSP however they like. The only difference that they have to actually buy the game before releasing. Just correcting another FUD "Nintendo will block CDN for everyone" that is often presented here as fact.

They designed whole cert infrastructure with fine grained per-device access control in mind, learning form Wii U mistakes. It didn't accidentally happens to be in place when CDNSP surfaced. Additional security measures were incorporated in 6.0 because it was first major FW release after CFW went...

    Strange assumption to make.

You should actually read OP. It debunks this misinformation.

I have ~20-30 mbs transfer speed from CDN. Pretty sufficient considering typical Switch content sizes. Also faster than legit eShop.

It is strange that you are worried about bandwidth cost not the actual contents that was downloaded this way :)

You seems to take this too personal. No one is entitled to anything. Including free exclusive access to CDN. Anyone interested can always buy, dump and release like scene did since forever.

If they want to "protect" CDN they will just make online/cloud version of CDNSP: request title, grab it from the cache or wait for server download, single source of truth, no one knows how it works. Can even be limited to updates only to save bandwidth. But there are no money and internet...

I shouldn't post relevant technical info on gbatemp because someone is afraid to loose their exclusive piracy source? I disregard this advice. They make advertising money, referral money, premium subscriptions money and most desired: attention.

I can only speak for myself. I am primary interested in how it all works from technical view point. Also I don't like people monetizing on the piracy, but that hardly relevant. Nintendo already implemented pretty robust system. If your cert is banned you can't do anything. They just need to...

Previous thread was closed by the mod, so let's start with this warning: Do not download and run random stuff from the internet. Like never. There are fake EdgeAuther versions floating around that steal your cert. There are no working CDNSP copy in public access yet. Now quick recap of what...

Hacking EU Users: Super Ban - GDPR Template

And people have the will to fight for their customer rights. Monopoly console online services should evolve from Wild West of now to transparent system with well defined rights and responsibilities of every participant. I wonder why anyone will be against this.

Hacking EU Users: Super Ban - GDPR Template

They are blocking network access because they can get away with it. As simple as that. Laws can't keep up with modern technologies. Does not mean it has to remain this way forever. It takes 10 years+ to have digital purchases and personal information handling regulated but is was done.
