Just writing to let anyone who cares know that I still want to see this project through. I've been playing the game to get proper context for as many lines as possible, but it's slow going. It seems harder and grindier than the Vita game. I'm on generation 7 and have only beaten one story boss...
@Tosui I've not done any translation yet. I'm currently trying to wrap up my playthrough of the Vita game and then I hope to dive into this one afterwards. It may be a while though. If others get to the translation before I do I'd be happy to edit instead.
I thought the site would email me about new posts to a watched thread, but apparently not...
I have only the most basic understanding of programming, but I figured maybe I could play around with the scripts and see what happens. Do they also include a way to dump the text to a spreadsheet...
Gosh, I wish I'd found this project a few years ago before it shut down. Did anyone manage to grab those Python scripts? The link doesn't seem to work anymore. :(
I see in the top post that a project for the PSP game "Da Capo Plus Situation Portable" is using Kuriimu. Who's the person working on that? Did they write a plugin for Kuriimu to be used for a non-3DS game? If so, would they be willing to share the code?
This is the doc I was editing, which I think is what's linked in the first post. I wasn't aware of a different one but I'd be happy to take a look at it.
The text in Google Docs is finally done.
I've been subscribed to this topic but somehow didn't get notifications that there were new posts in the last few months. Anyhow, my work on this has been sporadic at best but I've finally filled in the remaining blanks in the Excel sheet, and corrected...
OH, perfect! Thanks! That will make building the table a ton easier. I'll have to check and see if the symbols and English letters are coded that way too.
EDIT: I got a kana and miscellaneous character font table done, link is below. I'm not really sure about the kanji though, or what to do...
Since nobody seems able or willing to help, I'm taking time out of my day off to try and figure out hacking myself. This tutorial at first seemed really straightforward in terms of the graphics hacking part, but the file types mentioned in there aren't in the Itadaki rom at all from what I can...
I've been lurking here for a while, really interested in rebooting this project if possible. I love Fortune Street and would be able to do the remaining translation side - just would need someone to do the actual hacking. I've tried contacting Rastsan via PM but never received an answer...
@Xdqwerty you are not dumb or stupid, you need to stop saying that, you are very smart, even about alot of things I have no clue about. We all love you here, like a big family.
Only thing drive me crazy is all these new horror games nowadays is its so dark, all time. I can't even play them. I understand they trying to create spooky but be creative a little, not just darkness with pop out scare scenes.
