    That's straight up bullshit. BigBen is licensed by Nintendo and have been selling accessories for Nintendo products for over a decade. The quality is pretty good for the price, it surely isn't going to harm your switch.

    It probably wouldn't even put a dent in the pre-owned market. The amount of people that actually backup purchased games and then continue to use them using a backup loader is much smaller than you might think.

    Trying to mitigate a ban by restoring a "clean" backup is a bad practice, unless you haven't touched internet after backing it up, the logged information will differ from the ones Nintendo has on their servers and will most likely get you banned.

    The only real way to "clear logs" *safely* is by booting into maintenance mode and doing a full factory reset that includes wiping saves.

    If you are on under 4.x right now you won't be able to use a cartridge on lower firmware anymore, no matter if you ''fake update" or not.

    If you choose to delete save data as well in maintenance mode, it will erase the logs as well.

    Best way is to enter maintenance mode and restore factory settings & saves, this will clear everything including error logs
