Awesome, I'll give that a go then. Muddled through the rest of it but got stuck at the grounding part.
Worried I've got a bit too much solder on some other parts, it's very tricky with everything so small.

This is the thread you're looking for my friend. I'm about ready to do the same thing, just need some wire!
Hope that helps!
Before I have a crack at this, does anyone have a schematic for the mod, I'd feel more confident if I had one.
Also, OP, what heat did you set your soldering iron to and what did you use to cut away that small section of the case?
Thanks man! You are an absolute life saver! I tried to mod a 101 screen into a 001 thinking you could just plug it in! All the videos I've seen are quite misleading!
Will let you know how I get on :)
Would the OP's mod be the same on an AGS CPU 10 board?
I was fooled by a lot of Youtube videos into thinking that you could just put the new screen on the old board I have no experience soldering or working with circuit boards so am totally out of my depth here!
Hi Guys!
I'm totally stumped, I recently bought a scuffed up SP 001 to re-shell and add in a shiny new 101 screen. Got it all together and the back-light doesn't seem to work! You can see the screen image if you squint and shine a light on it so I know it's working in some capacity. The ribbon...
I get what they were trying to say but what the ad actually says is "we tried to cram a ton of features into the iPad but all of them got irreparably mangled
in the process."
I personally handled a call from the second highest person at Raytheon. That call bothered me a lot... The guy was nice and smart what bothered me was the way management basically just blew him off instead of going the extra mile to help him.
In the end that call ended up costing Dell millions in lost contracts with Raytheon, and really the issue could have been solved for like 450 bucks lol
I always thought that capcom shuffled the games in these collection, but apparently they are all in chronological order, which makes legacy collection 2 worthless
