    How about the Wi-Fi board? Iirc the 3DS systems are known to be really picky if there's something wrong with Wi-fi board (like they won't boot at all). If there's no WiFi board at all, it wouldn't turn on with the retail firmware wouldn't it? Or was this a DSi thing?

    The save problem only happens on Pokémon games. On other games not somehow. TWLmenu++ has issues with Pokémon HG via nds-bootstrap, that's why I am avoiding it. Maybe I will try YSmenu for now.

    You can use the flashcard version of TWLmenu++. It will work for the DSL. Just remember to use the correct file for your flashcard.
