    very late reply i didnt realize i was tagged but i used fwmanager to do it do note that i actually had the ds brick itself upon reverting back to stock fw so it may not be advised to do this

    Hacking Others trying to figure out how dsi icons work and stuck on a section

    so so far i have evrerything down from bitmap generation, palette generation, creating bitmaps, and getting the sequence data but im not sure what im supposed to do with the duration? as far as i can tell this is meant to be the duration for each bitmap 0 - 7 in order 7 6 5 4 3 2 1 0 right...

    some titles as well as homebrew will still assume youre on a japanese 3ds by default (exa: some pokemon games auto select japanese instead but you can just change that) but thats about all i know since every other reason is shutdown
