Hacking The Great Quest for Wiiflow Plugins™ - A call for adventurers!

Thanks a thousand for looking into it. I had no idea that there are arguments you could add/use for potentially running the dol. Please don't put too much effort into it, i already feel guilty for asking because you already spend a lot of free time in this project.

Hacking The Great Quest for Wiiflow Plugins™ - A call for adventurers!

Thanks a lot for your answer :yaywii: My goal is to simply to put "chip's challenge" in the "PC DOS/Windows" source menu as a game/item. I can already launch it trough the homebrew channel in the source menu, but I'd prefer to add it inside "PC DOS/Windows". Giddy3 is included in the "wiiflow...

Hacking The Great Quest for Wiiflow Plugins™ - A call for adventurers!

This maybe a stupid question :) and maybe it's too much to ask. I tried testing if i could add a new source port by replacing the boot.dol file from Giddy3. I thought i could start homebrew apps this way trough wiiflow. Is it required to adjust the dol file to make it compatible with wiiflow...

Homebrew The Wii Ports ultimate thread

https://www.gamebrew.org/wiki/Tile_World_Wii I just wanted to add Tile world which is a port for Chip's Challange. You can change the tileset and sounds to the microsoft version. Which i can't share i think (because of copyright issues).

Homebrew WiiSX RX - A new fork.

Is there a way to start wiisxrx 4.0 preview trough wiiflow lite with the classic controller preconfigured? i have to enter the menu with the wiimote by pressing (-)+(+) and reconnect the classic controller to be able to use it.

Homebrew WiiMC-SS - GameCube controller support and more

I'm using wiimc-ss.dol plugin on wiiflow lite currently however i'm having trouble figuring out how to activate subtitles. When i looked into my plugins folder i found the following: README_WIIMC-Plugin.txt * Plugin 2 : Recompiled with the 'right' freetype. Prevents a bug with subtitles...

    Hacking Rhapsodii Shima 5.4

@Tetsuo Shima is there a way to check the memory usage on wiiflow lite? I have some occasional freezes/glitches but that's likely because i added some extra systems/categories and a ton of roms/covers. Ive seen other RS users compress or change the dimensions (half the size) of the covers or...

    Homebrew Mame2003+ Compatibility list

I adjusted a script i found somewhere on the forum to sort out based on your compatibility list. the Linux script seems to skip the mame2000 folder :) I'm not a pro in bash script so maybe someone else can sort that out. Maybe it's useful to someone xd

They probably said "Hey, why not we combine the two together and make a 'new' DS to sell".

It's a DS Lite in a slightly bigger DS Lite shell.

    It's not a Nintendo / iQue official product, it's a 3rd party custom.

Nothing special about it other than it's more comfortable than the Lite

@SylverReZ if you could find a v5 DS ML you would have the best of both worlds since the v5 units had the same backlight brightness levels as the DS Lite unlockable with flashme

A woman with no arms and no legs was sitting on a beach. A man comes along and the woman says, "I've never been hugged before." So the man feels bad and hugs her. She says "Well i've also never been kissed before." So he gives her a kiss on the cheek. She says "Well I've also never been fucked before." So the man picks her up, and throws her in the ocean and says "Now you're fucked."

anyways, we need to re-normalize physical media

if i didn't want my games to be permanent, then i'd rent them

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.
  • AncientBoi @ AncientBoi:
    I don't pirate them, I Use Them :mellow:. Like I do @BigOnYa 's couch :tpi::evil::rofl2:

  • cearp @ cearp:
@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

    The issue is DRM
  • cearp @ cearp:
You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60

    :rofl2:
  • cearp @ cearp:
still, I agree physical media is nice to have. just pointing out the issue is drm
  • rqkaiju2 @ rqkaiju2:
i like physical media because it actually feels like you own it. thats why i plan on burning music to cds
  • cearp @ cearp:
It's nice to not have to have a lot of physical things though, saves space
