Just to let you know, I did what @NESjimbo suggested and it worked. So do the following:
Uninstall all mods that are installed on the NESC using the module uninstall in the program (leave music hack alone)
Remove those from the user_mod folder by deleting them
Download the source file that...
So doing this through the source file (with folders), will that take away from playing the games on the front end? Or do I have to go through Retroarch to access the games?
All I want to do is start a game from the menu without having to access the Retroarch menu.
Yikes.... I finally have everything working, kind of punch drunk to lose that
So that is the file that installs folders into the user_mod folder right?

The only folder in my user_mod folder in the hakchi2 folder is the "music_hack", everything I install as cores are simply copied files from @pcm720's .zip file, so I'm not sure where to go to in mine to find: "Go to user_mods\(snes9x2010 hmod folder name)\bin\snes, rename that file to...
So please walk me through this...
I installed the core: snes9x2010.hmod (that is I put it into the user_mod folder and then installed to NESC)
I then changed in the user_mod folder (assuming that was the bin folder you referenced) the name of the core to: snes2010.hmod
I then changed in the...
And here's a dumb question for someone that's been using this since it's come out: Can I install or uninstall 1 or 2 games for example without having to flash all the games I have every time?
How do I make Super Mario All Stars run 2010 while the others run 2005... Don't want to mess up where I am... I finally got everything running properly except for Mario All Stars
I've got SEGA and SNES working from the front end and the original 30 NES games work as well but the NES Roms go to black screen and then back to the menu
Someone should write a mod for the music that would allow for different tracks to play... I know we could edit them together but I'm talking about like maybe a playlist or something.... Here's to hoping
ok, so the original 30 NES games play but the others don't

All I did was change the file name to the original name... I'm playing a normal song, which is kind of awkward because everytime you change folders it starts the song over
I know I didn't set retroarch to run NES games, unless I added a core that wasn't needed... But the only ones that would mess with NES games would nestopia right?
I originally had the ROMs in my "downloads" folder but decided to streamline everything by moving all of into the "hakchi2" folder... I wouldn't think this would mess with it though
