    I am using a wiikey as stated above and I mounted it with wires on an empty space on the drive with tape.

    Thanks alot I did this and it works great. I just taped the fan to the back of the console and the system is now cool while playing games and has not shutoff on me yet.

    I opened up the system and soldered a wiikey myself. It was my first time soldering but i think i did a good job. After that i opened it up to clean the lens so it would read the dl version of brawl better.

    I have a launch wii and modded it last year. Lately after playing a game for more then an hour it will randomly just shut off and the led will go out.
