Yes, to be clear, I was asking you to compile my potential code fix, not for you to fix it yourself. If the bug is in the Wii64 code itself, it should not be impossible to track it down. My guess is that the actual fix will be less than 10 characters,
Do you use a GC pad?
It makes no sense. Whoever added the Classic Controller Support could fix the bug in about 10 minutes. I say that not as a person ignorant about software development. The other strange thing is that not64 doesn't have the same bug. Are the two emulators totally different code-bases? It...
Is the Classic Controller input bug still present? I.e. when you press d-pad right, right stick-up (C-up) is also registered? Are you all using GC controllers?
I'm dumbfounded. I've just found a bug in Wii64's controller input handling. Using a Classic Controller (which surely loads of people use), if you press d-pad right, it registers both d-pad right and right stick-up. This is nothing to do with controller configuration in the Wii64 settings...
Edit: Solved. The cause for me at least is the deletion of a neek-launched game's save data through SaveGame Manager GX. I have replicated it several times.
1. Play a neek game to generate save data. Exit game.
2. Delete save data.
3. Launch game again. Observe error.
It doesn't happen if...
I'm pretty sure I am using sourceflow TBH. I'm using Shima's theme with the spinning wheel at the top level. I.e. not the old style grid layout.
Kid-friendly was a blanket term really for things that I want to add. But I think the HOME button action (Source Menu Setup) on the sourceflow tiers...
Is it possible to show my own text (or images of text if necessary) when the user presses the + button whilst viewing an item? I have seen Wiimpathy's emulator database with images etc., but I just want to show some explanatory text for a few games. I don't want the whole thing ideally.
Is there a data sheet somewhere which, for each cover type, tells us the dimensions of each part of the cover? I especially want the PlayStation (cd_case_psx) cover parts dimensions.
Is there an idiot's guide to compiling the WiiFlow source - I want to play about with removing some kid-unfriendly stuff for my own setup? It doesn't have to include instructions for setting up DEVKITPPC as tutorials seem to already exist for that I think. Can it be done on Windows? Ta.
Only thing drive me crazy is all these new horror games nowadays is its so dark, all time. I can't even play them. I understand they trying to create spooky but be creative a little, not just darkness with pop out scare scenes.
