    For those with M3 Simply: Maybe you just need to upgrade your firmware to the latest version? (1.14) I had a friend earlier who had the same problem, he was using 1.10, after upgrading to 1.14 the game was playable.

    Don't take my word for it, but perhaps the game is using a 3D engine (some of the background effects look 3D-ey), and making 3D on both screens always cuts the framerate in half. 30 fps is perfectly playable once you get used to it, though. I can't stop playing and collecting new decoration...

    I want to buy it, but it hasn't arrived here, it's two weeks now since the store date and no one has it in my city yet. The japanese version freezed on my DS-X too now, maybe the cart isn't fast enough to keep up with the game or something.

    Sorry to revive this topic but i just recently found out that the control scheme is better in the japanese version, you can switch weapons using the X button now. Just wanted to let you know.

    The American version freezes on my DS-X, but the japanese doesn't. Could it be some new type of protection? :S And I just bought this card, what if newer games don't work at all?
