The filesystem used is most likely the issue here.
It probably is formated as exFAT but loaders don't support it.
Instead you have to use FAT32 for best compability (or NTFS, WBFS or ext2 is thats not possible)
Problem is Windows itself does only offer FAT32 for 32GiB or less (for tactical...
other: roguelike (meaning: extreme replayability, high difficulty, high randomness, permadeath)
both the classical ones (turn based dungeon crawler e.g. DC Stone Soup) and the new roguelikelikes (sic) like FTL
love the Doom rougelike DoomRL
wbfs manager has some serious bugs
use something newer instead e.g. wii backup manager
you can use wwt to check for corruption caused by wbfs manager
wbfs partitions are error prone
consider switching to a better filesystem like fat32, ntfs or ext2
There are other protocols that are run on top of IP.
UDP for example. Its (imho) better suited to gaming anyway.
Use e.g wireshark and take a look at the traffic.
Agreed, I would really consider using FAT32 instead.
The problem is only going to come up again.
The conversion is really fast and easy nowadays.
about that error:
Fat32 is limited to a maximum of 2^28 clusters
for a 2TiB partition that means that the clusters size must be at least 8KiB
(2TiB/2^28 = 2*2^40/2^28 B = 2^13 B = 2^3 KiB = 8KiB)
If you need help with setting up the dual MBR/GPT ask
but keep in mind my experience is limited to...
Yes, exactly.
The last time an update didn't work (revs 6-8) they did promise anther update too.
Which was the last that was ever heard of the matter.
Additionally SOME rev C couldn't be upgraded too.
Nothing was heard of the promised solution either.
I believe their solution was taking the...
why would you even want to have "clean" roms
the removed data can be restored trivially
(see my checksum script from my python version if you don't believe me)
its just a wast of space
you might as well oppose compressing them with eg 7zip
(which is actually less efficient than trimming)
Possible yes, but unlikely.
The method they usually use to block DS flashcarts (verifying the game) would not work against the Gateway.
I think that the general lack of long term success of that method and the gateway caused them to try a different approach again.
(Like the save chip check that...
