Can the "Extra Data" which includes player-made levels be shared between systems, and has the complete set been archived?
I imagine it's copyright-free since it's all player-made content and the data files don't include artwork.

This isn't something I know a lot about, but I get the impression that Project 64 v1.6 still has a following. Why is that? I would have thought, perhaprs naively, that the latest version would be better.

This sounds really disappointing. No IR or Bluetooth (e.g. for Pokemon black 2), no DSi mode stuff, no mention of EZ-Flash OMEGA Definitive Edition support and not even Real Time Save. How is this better than a 10 bucks R4?
