    And now I'm particularly confused, because importing a picture for the avatar doesn't have any issues with the outline... Since the hair is in a separate file for the avatar too, shouldn't it have the same result as Nina's portrait?

    It's most noticeable in this spot here (it's also a lot more noticeable on other backgrounds, like where it shows stats or anywhere that it's dark) Anyway, I'm going to try to see if making the original hair file less transparent around the edges and importing that will change anything...

    Did that, and seems like edited image itself is fine, but the hair (which again, didn't touch) still has kind of an outline around it?

    I try, but there keeps being some issue with the outline, I suppose because part of the outlines on images tend to be semi-transparent? And I don't know how to make that in .tga files.

    Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.

    @Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.
